Did Bodhidharma Exist and did he Meet Emperor Wu?
Many scholars say no, but I disagree.
The link below allows downloading a paper I've written that offers a new theory about Bodhidharma's life, previously unpublished in China or the West. It is based on modern Chinese scholarship and my own analysis of old texts, plus field observations at sites reputed to be where Bodhidharma lived and taught in China.
